Rani Mukerji opens up on response to Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway trailer!

Rani Mukerji's next film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway will be her first appearance since the 2021 movie Bunty Aur Babli 2. Rani is one of the most gifted and versatile actresses in Bollywood, and in the recently released Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway teaser, we got a preview of her excellent performance. Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, and many other celebrities were brought to tears by the trailer and showered Rani with praise for her acting, while Karan Johar referred to it as her "best performance" to date. Rani Mukerji has now responded to the tremendous response for the Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway video.

Rani Mukerji has now responded to the great response received for the trailer of Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. A media portal quoted that the reactions to the trailer have been very special and overwhelming for her. Humbled on seeing the love showered by admirers from across the world, her colleagues, friends, and family, Rani said that this is the first time in her entire career that she is witnessing so much love for her work. She said that she got a response like this the last time for her movie Black, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. Rani said that it’s rare to see such unanimous reactions for a trailer, and that seeing people get teary-eyed after watching just the trailer, is unheard of.

Rani Mukerji further revealed that people are connecting with the helplessness of a mother, and are baffled that it’s a true story. She is witnessing these kinds of reactions for the first time and is hopeful that the audience will really be moved to see her character Debika’s journey in Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway.  

Directed by Ashima Chhibber, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway stars Rani Mukerji, Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh. It follows the story of Debika, who lives in Norway, and fights against all odds to get her children back after they are taken away from her by child protective services. It is scheduled to release on 17th March 2023.
