Those waiting for the release of Rani Mukerji’s upcoming film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ will have to wait a little longer as it has been delayed. The makers of the Bollywood movie announced the new release date along with a fresh still featuring Rani Mukerji, on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on Thursday. The film, earlier set to debut in theatres on March 3, will now release on March 17. The new still shows the actress dressed in a beautiful, light yellow saree.
Rani looks radiant in the yellow saree paired with a matching blouse and a marigold flower in her hair.
Zee Studios, which is producing the film, shared the fresh still on Instagram along with announcing the new release date.
In the still, Rani Mukerji can be seen sitting on the floor with her children and clicking a selfie with the idol of Goddess Saraswati after performing the puja.
For the unversed, ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ will follow a mother's battle to bring back her children.
The film is based on the lives of Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya, an Indian couple in Norway whose children were sent to foster care in May 2011. The couple was not allowed to meet their kids until they turned 18.
