The south diva Rakul Preet Singh will next be seen in the Hindi film ‘Thank God’ along with actors Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra. Now, she has broken her silence on the boycott culture in Bollywood. Lately, numerous movies including Laal Singh Chaddha, Brahmastra, and Adipurush to name a few were almost trapped in this boycott trend.

Before releasing her upcoming film Thank God on October 14, Rakul Preet spoke about this boycott trend. In a media chat, Rakul Preet highlighted that she is not in support of this culture as it influences the situation of employment in the country.

“You should boycott something that affects a certain section of society, but don’t pre-empt and start that conversation because it affects the entire chain of filmmaking, not just the actors,” she told to a daily.

Rakul Preet further added, “By boycotting a film, the entire chain of filmmaking is affected. The industry suffers, and the number of films being made suffers. So, it’s a chain that is followed. Employment goes down. At a time when the government is doing its best to better the economy, we should not advocate these things.”

On the film front, Rakul Preet will be seen in Indra Kumar's Thank God, Anubhuti Kashyap's Doctor G and Akshay Kumar’s Mission Cinderella.
